These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Game Zapper Android app and this website (together, the "Service"), provided by ShickShack. By downloading, installing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
The Service
Game Zapper is a freemium utility app that helps you free up memory, monitor your device (CPU, memory, storage, battery, Wi-Fi, and network ping), tune performance for games, and optionally change your DNS resolver to help games and servers connect faster. Some features rely on Android permissions you grant, and you can revoke them at any time in your device settings.
Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for your own non-commercial use, subject to these Terms and the Google Play Terms of Service. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell, or distribute the app except as permitted by law.
Free and Paid Versions
The free version is supported by ads (see the Privacy Policy). A paid version removes ads. Purchases are processed by Google Play and are subject to Google Play's terms and refund policies. We do not process or store your payment details.
Third-Party Services
The Service uses third-party services (including Google Play Services, Firebase, Google AdMob, and the Google Gemini API) that have their own terms and privacy policies. The DNS feature routes your DNS lookups to a public resolver you select (such as Google Public DNS or Cloudflare), subject to that provider's policies. Your use of those services is governed by their terms, and we are not responsible for them.
What the Service Does and Does Not Do
Game Zapper provides best-effort optimizations. Freeing memory and tuning performance may help in some situations and have no noticeable effect in others, depending on your device, Android version, and the games you play. The DNS feature is not a VPN or proxy and does not route or record your browsing traffic. "AI Optimize" tips are automated suggestions and may not be accurate or suitable for your device. You use all features at your own discretion.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will improve the performance of any specific game or device.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ShickShack will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Changes to the Service and Terms
We may update, suspend, or discontinue the Service or any feature at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time; the updated Terms take effect when posted on this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the app. We may suspend or end your access to the Service if you violate these Terms or misuse the Service.
